The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) represents the world's commitment to universal ideals of human dignity. OHCHR has a unique mandate from the international community to promote and protect all human rights.

About OHCHR in Serbia 

OHCHR has had a field presence in Serbia since the 1990s.    Since 2007, OHCHR’s field presence is a Human Rights Adviser Unit. The Human Rights Adviser Unit supports the Office of the Resident Coordinator, the UN Country Team, the Government, National Human Rights Institutions and civil society in acting on Serbia’s international human rights commitments.
